Ho Chi Minh City, October 1, 2015 – The Consulate General of the United States of America in Ho Chi Minh City is pleased to announce a series of activities to take place in Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, and Hue.
EducationUSA will begin its Fall Fair Series on October 6 in Ho Chi Minh City. The Ho Chi Minh City fair will be held from 15:00-18:00, at the GEM Center (8 Nguyen Binh Khiem, District 1). The Fair Series will then continue in Can Tho, and will be held October 7, 14:30-18:00 at Can Tho University (3/2 Street, Ninh Kieu District). Representatives from over 40 U.S. universities and colleges will be at the fair to provide information and answer questions regarding the programs offered by their institutions. In Hue, a consular officer will also be available to discuss visas. New features of this year’s Fair Series include a U.S. College Quiz and presentations on the cultural regions of the U.S.
The EducationUSA fair is designed to benefit students, parents, and others interested in learning about study opportunities in the U.S. by:
Providing participants an opportunity to meet face-to-face with official representatives of regionally accredited U.S. colleges and universities;
Allowing participants to obtain tips and guidance on student visa procedures from an officer of the U.S. Consulate General Ho Chi Minh City; and
Informing participants about the availability of free advising services at the EducationUSA Advising Center in Ho Chi Minh City – an official and reliable source of U.S. higher education information;
