Liberal Arts College Fair
LIBERAL ARTS COLLEGE FAIR
Wednesday, October 5 – 2:30-6:00pm
The U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City will organize the very first Liberal Arts College Fair on October 5th, from 15:00-18:00, at the American Center in Ho Chi Minh City on the 8th floor of Diamond Plaza (34 Le Duan, District 1). Attached are the fair poster and list of participating institutions.
19 American universities and colleges will be represented at the fair. This is a very good opportunity for Vietnamese students to learn about Liberal Arts education system in the United States and talk directly with school representatives about the possibility of achieving their higher educational goals through quality program. Attendees will also receive updated information about the U.S. student visa procedures from a U.S. Consulate Officer, scholarship opportunities from EducationUSA Advisors. Consul General Mary Tarnowka will deliver the opening remarks at the fair.
The EducationUSA fair is free and open to the public. Please note that photo IDs are required for entry.

A Liberal Arts education encompassed many disciplines, and forms the foundation of the curriculum for most colleges and universities in the U.S. A Liberal Arts curriculum is typically comprised of up to two dozen departmental disciplines, including literature, foreign languages, philosophy, history, mathematics, psychology and the natural sciences. By being exposed to a wide range of disciplines, students develop a well-rounded educational background that will prepare them for any number of careers.
