Writing a Statement of Purpose for Admission to Graduate School in the United States
Time: Tuesday, August 5, 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Come join us in a unique session entitled “Writing a Statement of Purpose for Admission to Graduate School in the United States” where you can meet Dr. J. Scott Angle, University of Georgia, Dr. Gisele Therese Muller-Parker, U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), and Dr. Keith Alan Teague, Oklahoma State University. These professors will share their advice, insights, and guidance on how to prepare a statement of purpose that meets the requirements and attracts the special attention of the U.S. graduate admission committee.

William Hale, PAS summer intern, will give a presentation on what it is like to experience student life in the United States. He will talk about the basics of living on campus and what to expect from this new exciting experience. He will share some of his personal experience along with giving helpful advice about how to be successful in this new and exciting environment.
