You’ve probably heard of Dr. Martin Luther King, Michael Jordan, or Oprah, but how much do you really know about African-Americans? Come test your knowledge and find out more with consulate officers Malikat Rufai and Cameron Thomas-Shah, who will discuss the great contributions of African-Americans in fields such as technology, literature or music, and introduce you to examples like Charles Drew, inventor of the blood bank; the Tuskegee Airmen; or the iconic music of Motown. This event is being held in honor of Black History Month. Get ready for a unique time at the new AC, and compete for prizes!
