An Oliver Stone movie, “Heaven and Earth” tells the true story of a Vietnamese village girl, Le Ly, who survives a life of hardship during and after the Vietnam War. After emigrating to the United States, she faces new challenges. Come join the film screening and participate in a discussion with Le Ly about her life story.

If you missed the first screening of “The Last Journey of Madame Phung” in May, come join the encore presentation of this heart-warming documentary on transgender issues. The film is in Vietnamese with English subtitles. Following the screening, we will have an open discussion with the documentary’s director, Nguyen Thi Tham, who will share stories from behind the scenes and answer your questions.
Adolescent Decision Making: Going It on Your Own at College
