Consular Chief Discusses Changes to the Visa Renewal Program
The United States’ top Consular Officer in Vietnam discussed recent changes to the nonimmigrant visa renewal program with Phap Luat (Vietnamese). He explained, “The Executive Order does not make any changes specific to Vietnamese applicants…U.S. visa officers will continue to apply the same law and standards when making their decisions about individual applicants. We continue to issue visas to all qualified travelers.”
