Thousands of migrant laborers are brought as domestic workers to the Middle East, where they live in semi-slavery conditions. This documentary analyzes the delicate and little-known issue through the stories of women in Lebanon who succeed in emancipating themselves, and shows the work of those who defend the women’s rights. After the film a panel will discuss the issue of trafficking in persons, and domestic laborers in the Middle East, and what’s being done to help them.
