Join us in an interactive exploration of the development of the modern guitar in the United States. Participants will take part in exploring music fundamentals including rhythm, melody, harmony, chords, polyphony etc. We will discuss where the guitar fits into this progression and track its evolution through time. We will look at impact of the guitar on Vietnamese music. Composers featured will be Dowland, Bach, Sor, Albeniz, Domeniconi, Granados and Savage.
