Tổ chức Giáo dục Nord Anglia hôm nay thông báo rằng Trường Quốc tế Anh Việt, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh (BVIS HCMC) đã lọt vào danh sách Top 10 cho Giải thưởng Trường học Tốt nhất Thế giới về Sáng tạo danh giá. Năm Giải thưởng Trường học Tốt nhất Thế giới, được thành lập vào năm ngoái bởi T4 Education với sự hợp tác của Accenture, American Express, Yayasan Hasanah và Lemann Foundation, thường được coi là giải thưởng giáo dục uy tín nhất thế giới.
Giải thưởng toàn cầu công nhận các trường ‘phá vỡ truyền thống… để đánh bại các thách thức và đẩy nhanh tiến độ nhằm cải thiện giáo dục, thông qua đổi mới “đi tắt đón đầu”‘, với người chiến thắng được công bố vào tháng 10.
Trường BVIS TP.HCM lọt vào danh sách rút gọn nhờ vào chương trình phát âm song ngữ tiên phong, dạy tiếng Việt và tiếng Anh theo phương pháp ‘Học một, biết hai’. Chỉ có tại Trường BVIS TP.HCM, chương trình song ngữ độc đáo này giúp học sinh học đọc bằng cả hai ngôn ngữ và chuyển đổi liền mạch giữa hai ngôn ngữ, tạo nền tảng để các em tiến tới các kỳ thi IGCSE và A-Level.
Là một phần của chương trình, trường cũng đã thành lập một dự án đối tác cộng đồng trong năm nay, trong đó học sinh Lớp 5 đến thăm một trường học địa phương để giúp học sinh cải thiện khả năng đọc hiểu.

Nord Anglia school shortlisted for prestigious World’s Best School Prize for Innovation
LONDON, June 15, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Nord Anglia Education today announced that the British Vietnamese International School, Ho Chi Minh City (BVIS HCMC) has been named in the Top 10 shortlist for the prestigious World’s Best Schools Prize for Innovation. As part of the programme, the school has also established a community partner project this year where Year 5 students visit a local school to help students improve their reading comprehension.
